Dunno what tittle i should give to this text. It's nothing in particular, only to state that lately i don't feel like logging.
I don't know if i should burn my eyes boosting and boosting teams or simply level one toon. Don't even know if in one month and a half from now i still want to multibox.
The whole idea of having a guild of boxers is fun, but the probability of having someone to wreck AV with is low. People tend to play alone, either leveling toons or doing PvP, doing PvE or simply leveling profs, feels like it's on purpose. Well, im not saying some people gather and do their things, but at least with me, whenever i look and propose something it's hard to get things going.
And so, i've been a bit away from wow. This week i've must logged 1 or 2 times for 1 hour or so, lol.
I think i'm going to continue solo leveling each of my toons, the classes i still lack at 80: Priest 31, Warlock 37, Mage 32, Druid 26, DK 67, Hunter 48.
Already have: Paladin, Warrior, Rogue, Shaman.
It's just that logging the shaman and steamroll in AV feels a bit of waste of time with the xpack closing in, and also, i don't have anyone to come and have a laugh with. So i guess it's fun when i think about multiboxing haters, that tell everyone multiboxers are anti-social and freaks, when it's exactly the oposite. I like to socialize a lot and have a laugh at QQ'rs :)
Anyways it's weekend, and it means riding my bike, travel a bit and do some geocaching!

Cataclysm release date
It's getting close to the release. My inital date was 1 November (inside infoz!), and it will be close to that, as more and more sites announce the first week of November as release date.
Thinking about taking a week off, insist in some MTB riding during the day and some Cata leveling during the night :) Once again, like in WotLK, Shamans are going for the cap first, and then i'll think about the Paladin, that may find some social raids at After Hours - A late night raiding guild that likes progress! Apply there if you're looking for a mature guild, 3 days raid a week, each for 3 hours and a nice guild environment!
Now that i put togheter a catchy title and some shameless pub, i shall tell u that i've been waisting both my beta account and my current 5 wow accounts, mostly due to late night GeoCaching with some friends, they constantly nagg me about it and i end up driving my car in jeep roads :)
Not sure if today, because i want to ride my mountain bike, but definitly thursday or friday is alliance city raiding day!

Returning to Gimp
Had to consider it, and after clearing my mind i decided to ask to join! Ofc i was invited, but the guild is almost full with alts, lol.
Meanwhile i've done some AV's, and got some footage for a nice vid :)
Anyway, had to sleep earlier, i had some geocaching today in hard terrain, but it was so worth it!
Sporting Lisbon in some hours, let's win that shit!

All 5 shamans are up and running, like old times. After some hours with macros and configs i finnaly have a taste of what it was like, and nothing like a good BG for a test.
Not bad.
Founded a new guild, quinary, after being kicked from Gimp and not even receive a reason or note. I was online with a solo char when i saw some of my teams being kicked... Anyways everyone's welcome to join and stay as long as they want!

Konnichiwa back home
March this year i went Silvermoon with all i had and took the main shaman with me!
Now the shaman is back home, to his 4 brothers that missed him for a long time!
In time they'll get ready for more adventures, another way of saying major owning :)
The info is spread, the best PvP'rs on GB Horde know they'll have a nice help in battlegrounds for Cataclysm!
I may be unable to play so much time like i used to, but at least i'll play it in style, causing QQ and e-havok :P
This is Konnichiwa v3

Worgens are cute, but...
Goblins take the prize.
Thing with worgens atm is their starting zone and their looks. They look amazing and the animations are cool.
But, today i had the opportunity to create a Goblin and got an instant laugh. It's still downloading the whole beta to my laptop, so i haven't been able to play with it more than 2 minutes, but from what i see, it's machines and crazy buildings allover the place, with people delivering quests in cars and all that sort of stuff.
Looking forward to take a look later and record a video :)

Cataclysm Beta
After 1 847 982 spamm emails, i received the real deal yesterday.
700mb base install, followed by a long, long, long download of 13gb. It's still downloading as i write, hopefully i'll have the whole experience later tonight.
I'll post some stuff later, some screenshots and perhaps a video.
Haven't been able to create a Goblin to see how it moves and how are the racials, but i already have a Worgen made and the starting zone looks great.
Later chaps!

Why isn't Multiboxing dead
Felt like writing something. Afterall, it ain't everything about idiots who use guilds and their good will.
Why isn't multiboxing dead?
After all the modifications in game, that annoy every single multiboxer?
Like arriving AV and don't have leader anymore, and find our chars scattered among 5 different groups.
Or a retarded shaman that pop's heroism before the gates open, or just after.
After PvP became retarded to the point of a single AoE'r kill 5 or more people in one place?
Arena matches taking less than one minute, and i'm not talking about skilled players, but rather mages and locks pressing a couple buttons.
But like so many non-multiboxing people always said: multiboxing is unfair
Come get raped by AoE to see what unfair.
Well, and to answer my inicial question, why isn't multiboxing dead, is quite simple.
It takes 15 minutes, to try and join a random dungeon, to see why multiboxing can be your best friend! The ammount of retards in WoW continues rising and there's no stopping that.
50% of runs are doomed by people always saying gibberish.
20% of the runs end when people ding and leave the group to go learn new talents.
20% of the times u'll get an afk tank
5% u'll have people kicking other people
4% is 4 guys walking around, not knowing where to go, with me trying to say that i know the way: follow me please!
1% of the runs, u'll get 4 other people who have done the instances countless times, who know what to pull and when to pull. Know when the healers and dps's need to MB.
Multiboxing turns that 1% into 100%.

Two years ago
I didn't care with nothing more than fun while playing WoW. I stopped worrying about gear, and raiding, and DKP's and shit.
It really didn't matter how much decked in BT gear someone was, or PvP gear... it was a dead target. A vast legion of fans emerged and Grim Batol wasn't the same anymore.
My memories from 2 years ago:
My pal Strickmabil and i traveling around and killing...stuff.
Dropping a 2150 rating team dead in 20seconds and laughing at the whine on official forums
Gohan, Francis, Slayer, Ji, Big, Debian, Blade, Gibson laughing hystericaly at "that druid decked in sunwell gear is gonna die! watch him! watch him! ahahahhahahhahaha!!!"
Let's see if Cataclysm gives something deadly for multiboxers, now that Mages have "heroism/bloodlust" and so many other surprises. I don't think i can resist to upgrade my 5 accounts :P
Unfortunnetly i can't play that much nowadays, but i'd sure have fun like the old times!
So anyways, here's a vid to remember

Casualcraft, Raiding and Legendary's
I felt like i needed to write something about what i learned today. Something we all should take in consideration, because no matter how many times it happens, how many times it repeats, u always happen to see it again and again. U saw it comming, but whatever, let's give the benefict of the doubt another time.
Back in late February, with the slowing of my multiboxing practice and the increasing ammount of chat windows on msn saying "common, join us, it'll be fun", i decided to migrate from Grim Batol to Silvermoon with my Paladin. In the process some of my friends got surprised and some said i didn't even bothered telling anything, but no big deal i thought, it's people i keep in touch almost everyday either on facebook, twitter, sms, forums, etc.
I went to join After Hours, with a lot of other friends that happened to raid with me in cartel, another guild where a legendary got aborted.
With the arrival at the server, carrying 20kgold and 20 Saronite Bars worth of many gold to sell on the AH, i asked if anyone had plans of going for the legendary.
At first the only one was malanho, someone i knew for a very long time. He was undecided and a couple more days passed by without anyone knowing exactly who was going to do what.
Some days later, late night talk, he says: "nah, won't make it. it's far too expensive, time consuming, and i don't even have the gold yet."
With the time closing in due to our raid progression, we really needed someone on the quest to make fragments drop.
So i thought, well, i can make the weapon, do the quest line and start this once and for all.
On the next night he says: "i wanna do it afterall."
And in a couple hours of buying and selling, ask the guild bank for 3 saronites and ask some borrowed, he crafted shadow's edge.
I even ofered some of my saronites to help, but it wasn't needed anymore, so i went to sell everything at the AH and made a good proffit.
The following 2 months and a half was a grind, and finnaly in the end of May, Malanho got his well diserved Shadowmourne. Well, until that time, whatsoever.
At this time everyone was so focused on getting it done, that most officers didn't even thought about:
- who was the second one to make another shadowmourne
- who had the most quest's done in the questline
- who had interest
And to tell the thruth, it all kind burned me.
The fact that burning a whole night on one boss for progress was a rare drop.
Or that, because of our short schedule (9 raid hours per lockout), we were always running to make boss's and make fragments drop.
Or that, sometimes, a tip came out of nowhere: "tired of this boss, let's farm the others"
Meanwhile, in the beggining of May i started getting some strange behaviours with my eyesight. I've been born with astigmatism on my right eye and my left one has always been my salvation. At the same time, i stressed it too much, but when u can't compare what u see with the left and on the right, u really can't say whats going on, and all i thought was: i have my eyes tired.
I slowly started missing raids, and from the 3 weekly ones, i started making 2. And then sometime i could barely survive making 1. It was terrible. The guild needed me and i couldn't focus. After 1 hour playing all i see is things walking on the screen.
So, Malanho ended his legendary for him and used the quest item to sell a horse for 60kgold profit for himself (if i recall correctly). GZ!
Someone was needed to make the second shadowmourne, someone trustworthy. At the beggining i said i couldn't make it. I had too much going on my life, togheter with health issues, and it would be bad to accept such a task.
A week went on and still, officers couldn't decide on whom to do it, and after talking with 2 people i said, after long consideration that i wanted to do it.
Believe it or not, i wanted to make it just to make sure it stayed on the guild, more than anything else. But people who know me know the sucker i am for lore items. How much time i farm, and dedicate time to worthless shit for so many people. For years i've been farming my Thunderfury. This year i finally managed my Sulfuras. I grinded Zul Gurub with my Paladin and my Shamans more times than 10 people who got zulian tiger, combined.
Having iconic items is more than showoff. Is something not meant for everyone, such as casuals or people that give no value to an account, to the point of selling it.
Well, i managed to convince Reigoto about doing Shadowmourne. I crafted Shadow's Edge and started my grind. I made 25 mans, 10mans, grinded undead mobs and on the second week, due to so much time spent on WoW, i started to have problems on my eyesight. I had to quit it. I wanted so bad to do it, as a personal souvenir from a fantastic game and making sure it stayed among us, our guild, but it was impossible.
I apologized Reigoto and the rest of the officers. I apologized to those who were about to complete the questline instead of me (Kobar and Habbaray) and togheter we decided to give the task to Kobar, whom we knew for a year, a really nice lad.
I asked the guild for a break, due to health issues, and on the following day went to the hospital in Lisbon to make sure everything was fine. After some hours of tests to make sure my corneae were fine, i came home. It's mostly tired vision. Working in computers the whole day, and play all night isn't a good thing to do, did you know?
The story is long now, and i've talked a lot about what happened to me the last months, that forced me to quit raiding and follow a more healthy life like jogging with friends and playing some football. Fuck, i didn't ran for years, making 4km's in 30minutes is godlike :D (for a person of my structure ahaha)
But like any other story, this one has an ending and a porpuse.
I didn't made the first shadowmourne because Malanho wanted to do so. For him, for the guild, for everyone.
It's a bit disapointing to see that, barely a month after, he put his account on sale: link
From my PoV, it's another fuckup made, another "i love everyone so much, and i'm a good guy, let me do it" that has happened in the past, and let other guilds to disband.
And to add, he has a story of selling and buying accounts or starting new ones from scratch, because he gets tired. And then he get's tired again.
Having it done by people i don't give a fuck? I really don't give a fuck.
Having it done by people i know online for years? I do give a fuck, and so should everyone.
He says, and i quote:
"tenho outras prioridades na vida neste momento e não quero perder mais tempo de vida agarrado a isto."
"I've got other priorities in life at this moment, and i don't wanna lose more time of my life shackled to this."
My question:
Why.
The fuck.
Did u made an item such as that to quit on the game, on your friends, on everyone of the guild just to sell the account 3 months later.
To fucking SELL the account.
It's not like, im tired of the game, i'll have a break.
Or, im ill and can't play.
BUT THE FUCKING ACCOUNT STAYS ON THE GUILD, ALONG WITH THE FUCKING WEAPON EVERYONE HELPED ME TO DO, AND ALL THE GOLD I PROFITTED FROM THE LITTLE PONNY I SOLD ON THE AH IS FOR THE GUILD BANK.
No. U decided to sell the account and profit from eveyone who helped you.
Burn my fucking eyes right now, if i would do that to the people who would help me reaching such a unique weapon. It' would stay on the guild forever.
Oh btw, i wanna give an answer to myself!
Answer:
U saw it comming, alongside with a chance of making something that would make your account valuable.
I don't think your account is valuable because of a priest a warrior and a mage decked in welfare and casual epics.
I don't think your account is valuable because of the other account u already had bought and linked to this same battle.net account.
I think your account is valuable because your selling it with an item that always stays on guilds. Because the people who accomplish that weapon know that without help it would never be possible, and by any means it stays on guilds.
Ow sorry. Forgot to add.
Serious people do that, not everyone.
Because for you, it's a matter of "it's my login, my account, and i want money"
For me it's like asking others to tell u to fuck off the next time they see you.
So let me say something, on the peak of my nerdrage: Go, fuck, yourself.
Now please, spare me the "u take the interwebs too serious" or "it's just a game mate."
And thanks for clearing out the ideas i had about you.

Ich bin das kingslayer!
Ich bin das kingslayer!
(German sponsored by Gibson)
Tuesday, 16 March
Preparing for a night of LK 10-man tries, so i went to WSG to build up some rage agaisnt the world. When i left WSG i could easily spank Chuck Norris, so LK was kind of a joke tbh. Guess we made around 8 try's and downed the motherfockor and it felt so fucking epic.
I also happened to press escape when the cinematic poped in, so i missed all the fun. It's a hell of a fight, and what makes it look easier are brains on your partners. Everyone was focused, and with my 5.4Gearscore i had to really push it to keep with the other people. He really had some sick dps yesterday.
The main problem on that fight is defile, the rest in quite simple to execute. Has been a long time since i really felt that epic feeling of downing a boss.
Now we look forward to 25man, which is going to be a major pain in the ass :)

Been a while...
since my last post.
I've been sorting out stuff at work, playing some WoW and planning some adventures (life's too short).
So im back at PvE, once again! Of course i want to see the content and raid with my Paladin, but im more excited to play with friends again.
I've transfered my Paladin to Silvermoon, along with my Warrior. I already had my Rogue there, still at lvl77, but looking forward to level it up.
The guild is After Hours and it's the solution for whoever arrives late at home, back from work or whatever, and still wants a piece of WoW. Check it, it's a very nice guild, always seeking more devoted and grown up players.
All my preparations are done, im back at raiding ret after a long time and im excited about it. Im also looking forward to craft my Shadow's Edge and who know's, in the future i may upgrade it.
There isn't much to add, other than im about to go on a trip to Madrid and visit an old pal, and at the same time watch Sporting Lisbon against Atlético Madrid for the UEFA Europa League :D
Stay cool!

The Best UI...
has got even better.
SkepsisRaidUI
Even if u don't raid at all, use it and feel that freshness everytime u log. I'm a bit paranoid about UI's and must have tested like 50 or whatever but this one is the best and the author tries to keep it always updated for each patch.
Try it out.

Addon: Altoholic
Altoholic isn't new around. It's been talked for more than a year at least, between alt's fanatics, as a must have.
If u take alt's seriously u must have it.
If u don't have it, either ur just slacking (like me) or u don't wanna assume how geek u are.
I consider myself an altoholic. I've done several chars, on serveral accounts. I've even deleted many lvl's 20's just because i wanted to organize my multiboxing teams, or simply because i needed to transfer back my chars to GB Horde, and couldn't have Ally chars.
Long story short, i lost total track of the time i've spent on alt's of any kind.
What i currently hold is my oldest chars and some fresh ones i've created recently to have one of each class.
Yesterday, after reading a post at mmo-champion regarding altoholic, i decided to give it a go, since im pretty much into my alt's atm.
The result was quite...unexpected. It was great to have such an addon that keeps track of everything one might need to organize his toons, but at the same time, when i saw the summary of days played i kinda...i dunno...stopped in time?
372 days played on all chars, not counting a mage i've had with 20 days and a lot of other lvl 20's and 30's i had at some point.
By my calculations i must have around 450 days played lifetime on all accounts and toons i had active. Ofc i've thought of the afk times, but even if u take out what? 30 days? 40 days? Yeah, it's still a lot.
So... my advice is that, if u don't wanna get depressed by the ammount of time spent in WoW don't install it. If u don't bother at all with it, use this awesome tool for who has more than one char.

"Fast" Generation
Been enjoying the game like it should. Many low level alt's that give me plenty to do, quest here and there with the ocasional random dungeons. Even my cousin made me grab an old account and set it up for him to play (ofc, he made his 3rd hunter), and i've been leveling a druid along with him, whenever he comes visit me.
So mostly i've been tweaking my warrior and pala, and leveling all the remaining classes with heirlooms, since at Portugal we can't benefict from the RAF system.
But... something just doesn't feel's right.
Sometimes i get perfect groups of people that know what to do and how it must be done.
But most of the times it's scrubs, wanting to make it fast. The word is indeed "fast".
"Faster"
"Come on, pull faster"
"Dude please do this faster"
Upon entering a random HC or low level dungeon: "Let's make it fast"
"Faster tank"
Well, the irony in all this is that, most of the times, those telling to go faster end up fucking it.
The story i have present in my memory is about a AN HC random run, where this rogue decked with a 5800+ GS just kept saying "faster" all the time.
He wanted it so fast that he even went to do the 2nd boss bug, where he vanished and reseted the fight, but the other ppl were so slow that got owned by the respawn and....wipe.
Second try, he does the same, sprinting to Anub's room and leaving us running our way down, while i managed to do it with another guy, 2 were killed and had to corpse run, now without the rogue to do the trick again.
It's important to say that i told him not to do it, cause it was an easy badge and was better not to confuse ppl, to what he told me fuck off and join another heroic to triumph farming.
It's also important to say that, after he talked to me like that, i made everything possible to fuck him and his fast run, so after 30 minutes i finally made him to say the magic words: "thx for everything u motherfucker no-lifer" and he left.
For every single instance on random HC mode it's been almost 100% like this.
People join for the 2 Emblem's of Frost that are given at the end of the run and nothing else, so if it was possbile to skip the entire instance they would want to.
What's most annoying is that most people don't say anything about skiping the badge, or being told what to do by scrubs decked in their ICC gear that monkeys could achieve. In fact, i believe most of them don't even read the chat or have it enabled.
WoW is easy. Even leveling up with all the help now available is damn easy. Everything is shown as easy, yet appealing to new players and even older ones seeking to level alt's.
But in the end we get this mixture of hardcore, semi-hardcore, casuals that doesn't go along well with random dungeons, unbalanced pvp and everything available via emblems.
People are constantly angry at eachother because they know that, in the end, the difference between a devoted (im not even saying a 24/7 raider) player and a casual one is getting slimmer each day.
All i know is that i miss the classic wow. The one we enjoyed so much and that everyday we remember as "those were the days".
To be continued...

Oh noes.....
Since i just can't seem to get some freakin boot's for my warrior, either prot or fury but what i really want is fury set, i had to buy the PvP ones, until i get some proper ones for PvE.
WHILE VISITING THE VENDOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see all this shiny-awesome furious PvP gear. And i imagine im with my shamans. Doing PvP. Owning every one's ass in AV. Riping people apart in Arenas with my partner Strickmabil. And...
I bought the boots and went to the AH to buy a 20Str Gem.
Fin.

One week later
My Warrior dinged 80 precisely one week ago. I had the mood to level up from 74, where it was for a long time, perhaps since June, and the new LFG system was awesome to join as Prot.
Now, when a char reaches 80 a new adventure begins: collecting gear, wich, as all may know, ends up being a PITA, with all the ninjas and fail runs to HC's and wtv more.
BUT!
I had a little help from my friends, who were great and joined me for countless HC runs, still going everyday. Lost track of how many Emblems of Triumph i got, but damn, we farmed a lot!
While many argue that this ruins the game, wich in a way i agree, trash players remain trash, even with great gear or not. What i know is that i was given a chance to tune my warrior with massive gear upgrades and im doing DPS like i've never seen a warrior do. It's a "first come, first serve" playstyle that i seem to enjoy very much with the warrior and now i just can't stop playing it.
Slowly leveling some alt's, using the rested xp, and making 10mans along with HC's, that's me enjoying the game without the raid guild stress i always end up finding sooner or later.
Oh almost forgot! Nice lunch on Saturday from my good fellas over at After Hours, i love these meetings where we talk and talk about warcraft, with the lady in the back thinking we're gonna nuke something later.

The Retarded AoE'r
Guess what? The kings here are mages, but now with WotlK almost anyone can do AoE, and be a retard along with it. Like one of my guests nicely put it on the comments box yesterday, retards are people with special needs, not warcraft players, but i beg to differ: these people do have special needs, like the need to fucking learn to play.
The most common situation while doing massive AoE is to pull aggro on loose add's, just because the tank has the duty to keep aggro. Even before the tank reaches the pack of mobs there goes the massive damage, while being stactic, and aggroing that patrol on the back of those mobs, thus, making more damage than the tank and pulling the adds to himself, and the following sentence on party char will be: WTB AGGRO FFS?
Le AoE rétárde will often post his recount meters at the end of the run, showing how much skill he has to click a shortcut and place it on the ground. Some classes don't even need to place the area of effect, cause that would complicate the class too much.
Piece of advice: Do not try to talk about how bad the person is playing, always doing aggro just because he doesn't know to play. That person will eventually tell you suck, because u can't keep up with is damage, and ur just jealous cause u can't output 2000dps at lvl40.

The retarded puller-ninja
Most likely we're talking about a melee dps here.
It's a retard and loves to do shit, such as ninja pulling and ninja some loot. The educated version of this chap will say sorry in every sentence.
From his PoV he's doing it right, u just suck at tanking cause u don't taunt that mob he's hitting in single-target mode till it dies.
The retarded puller-ninja doesn't stops for mana breaks, that's for loosers.
If he wears plate and uses shields, start praying hard so u can get that shield u wanted from the last boss u're trying to get for months, cause he will roll, and everyone knows the retard will most likely get the loot.

Solo leveling for some boosting later?
Yeah, i've been solo leveling. Again.
The game as it is doesn't suit for what i'm looking for with multiboxing: having fun.
Im not a guy that likes to be locked on a dungeon, doing it all alone, even if it has some interest. What i like to do is PvP, face 20 guys entering Galvangar's room and rip them apart...with the help from my friends! Those friends don't seem to have the time or will to play a game that's become more of a AoE party than anything else.
So, i'm back to some leveling, enjoying the sweet experience of growing... experience.
Well, the new LFG tool is really nice, and there's always someone trying to do instances.
For now the plan is to continue playing just for kicks. Later on i'll decide if i wanna level up the other 4 chars for each class, and if i do, i'll be boosting them with my paladin.
Just remembered that perhaps i should let a class or two for Cataclysm, and let them be Goblin Mages or something? :P By that time, we should have CPL.
CPL: Character Payed Leveling :P

Hunters and Ninjas
Decided to lvl my warrior a bit and went tanking some dungeons with the new system.
At lvl76 HoS is a bit challenging, but when u get a fucktard hunter that the first thing he does on each pack is Multi-Shot, and for the rest he nukes a single target and kites it around, things get somewhat annoying. I taunt the target and get back to the rest of the mobs, but he just wouldn't let go the target, wich was amazing.
In the end he tells me to learn to tank, cause it's really easy. I said if it wasn't easier for him to change target and let me grab that mob he kiting around, and he says i should learn to tank. ROFL
On the last boss a Tank neck drops, the DK needs it, wins and says thanks for the party.
If there was a God, how could we be filled with morons allover the place?

PvE....my head hurts..
After much time thinking about it, i decided to jump into some PvE Multiboxing. I had the Tank, my Paladin, so i just needed to change some things on my shamans...
After a couple hours, i had everything set. This may come as a shock, but, truth is, i never boxed a PvE team, with 3 DPS, 1 tank and 1 healer. Spent 4k in Dual-Specs, built some PvE talent trees and switch a shaman to resto with his elemental gear (ohh shiii!!!tsss) and i actually managed to do a lot of normal instances, and UK HC.
Got new totems for everyone, except one shammy that really needed the badge shield.
I think i got the hang of it, the major problem is to setup multiple shortcuts to a single keystroke, which, unfortunately, i never had much courage to do, or better, patience...
The new random dungeons system is great, so i just have to queue my team up and enter the dungeon couple seconds later. I guess i'll be doing some emblems farm whenever i grow bored of PvP.
I've also been destroying things with my new teams.
Hunters...so fucking op.
And making money with honor points. Go figure...
